Shipping

At this time, due to extensive paperwork and the extremely long flight for a puppy, we do not offer internationally shipping of your puppy. You are welcome to fly here and pick him/her up and fly him/her back with you!

You are always encouraged to pick up your puppy at our location if possible, as shipping can be stressful for puppies. Plus, we'd love to meet you!

For a fee there is the possibility of "meeting halfway." However we are a busy family and gas prices are high. It may be just as expensive as shipping. But if you'd like this option, we'd be happy to discuss the possibility with you.

Shipping by airline includes kennel, airline ticket, and health certificate. Shipping charges generally range from $250-$325 and are your responsibility to pay.

Boxers and Shih tzus are snubbed nose dogs, and therefore cannot be shipped under 10 degrees (this temp applies to all animals) or over 75 degrees (for some other animals it is 85 degrees) on most airlines. This includes the area of take-off, any layovers, and the arrival airport at the scheduled time they will be there. We generally ship Northwest Airlines. We are quite happy with their service and it is the closest option for us. Continental Airlines has slightly different policies and may be a possibility if it is over 75 degrees. Continental is more expensive however, and we would need to travel to the Omaha airport, which is about 2 and 1/2 hours away. Both of these factors would increase the shipping price, to be discussed with you.

Please ensure that you are able to pick your puppy up from the airport in a timely manner as he/she will be lonely, and possibly frightened and anxious to meet you!

After giving you this information, I would like you to keep in mind that airlines would never consider offering this type of service if it wasn’t safe (they simply wouldn’t subject themselves to the lawsuits) and we would never consider a shipping method that was in any way unsafe for one of our precious puppies.
